Our Halloween Festivities

Thursday night we carved two pumpkins. One for Jared and one for Brittany. Jared chose a bat for his pattern and Brittany wanted a ghost. Keith did Brittany's and I did Jared's. We were so happy to have Oma with us for Halloween!

YUCK! Pumpkin guts!

The kids and the finished product!

This is what Mason did during pumpkin carving.

Mason and his Halloween threads

Captain America and his Ladybug. I should mention that we have had a bunch of ladybugs flying in and around our house for the past few days. This happened last year and I don't really know why, but I'm sure there is a reason. We told Brittany that the ladybugs were looking for their queen (meaning Brittany) and that is why they are at our house. She thought that was pretty cool!
Our family on Halloween!

Oma and her grandkids!

My mom left today to go home and I am very sad. It was so nice to have her here for the past 10 days. I hope she knows how much I appreciate it. I know it was a big sacrifice for her. She was awesome. The kids love her so much and she was so helpful. She is my best friend and I'm so blessed to have her in my life. I don't know what I would do without her. Thanks mom for everything! You are amazing!
