After dinner tonight, Keith suggested we take the kids for a ride (especially since we'd been cooped up in the house all day.) As we were driving toward the house, Jared said he didn't want to go home yet (of course.) I remembered that last week I had gotten a car wash and Brittany was really cute. She laughed and giggled the whole time. I think it was the first one she ever really knew what was happening. Anyways, I suggested to Keith we go get a car wash so he could witness the cuteness of our little girl. He was all for that, and even though I know it will rain tomorrow, that doesn't matter. The $5 we paid for the car wash is nothing in comparison to how cute Brittany was. She straightens her legs out and shakes her arms in excitement and makes the cutest sounds. She is just a giggly, silly little girl! Of course Jared eggs her on. So, although it may be ridiculous to some that we spent $5 on a car wash we know won't last more than a day, to me it was money well spent. Memories like that are worth a lot more.
Especially after President Monson's talk today. Every moment is so precious and they will be gone before I know it.

Can I take her with me next time I get my car washed? Hadley completely freaks out when we go. I have to hold her hand the entire time. Brittany could show her how fun it can be. : )
