I have been trying to potty train Brittany for the past few weeks. I must admit I am not able to devote as much attention to it as I would like, but it has been a topic of discussion and action for some time now. So a few days ago Brittany decided that she wears pull-ups now and diapers are a thing of the past. I fully supported this. Then tonight she told me she had to go potty and so I told her to hurry and go the potty chair. She did and when she was done I asked her did she want to wear her new panties and not go in pull-ups anymore. She said YES!! So, we got the new Dora panties out of the bag and she put them on. She told me a few times that she wears panties now and not pull-ups. It was very cute. We went downstairs and she was playing while I was on the computer and the next thing I know I hear her upstairs pushing a chair in the kitchen. I wasn't sure what she was doing and when she came down she had a wad of paper towels in her hand. I asked her what she was doing and she said she went potty on her Dora couch. She was obviously trying to clean it up and I thought that was quite cute of her. So I had her go to the potty chair and asked her if she had forgot that she had panties on. She said yes and I told her to get some clean panties and not to forget to put her pee in the potty chair. She said she wouldn't.
After bath tonight I told her to go get a pull-up and she said to me,"Mom, I don't wear pull-ups anymore." I told her that she only needs to wear them to bed, like Jared, and when she wakes up we can put her panties back on. She excepted that. I'm anxious to see what tomorrow brings. I'll say an extra prayer for the potty training.
