The pile
On Thursday, two of my friends came over to hang out. It was a great time had by all and the kids just played. Since my house is three levels, it is difficult to constantly keep an eye on them, but they are usually pretty good. However at the end of this fun-filled day, something terrible happened that sent me right to edge. Kimbal (my bff's little boy) and Brittany were up in her room and I heard drawers closing. I thought I had better go check on them, but something distracted me and I didn't. When I finally did get up there it was much too late and the damage had been done. Between the two of them, they had emptied the clothes out of every drawer in the room (both Mason's and Brittany's dressers, a total of 8 drawers) and dumped two baskets of miscellaneous things, and dumped two big bins of clothes that were in the closet. All of it was in a huge pile in the center of the room. It was at this point that I was sure I was going to loose it! It took everything in me to hold it together. I think the worst part was that I had just put all the clothes back in the drawers since we had just got back from Utah. That and the fact that it is a job that only I can do. I couldn't even make them clean it up. UGH! Needless to say, I had to walk away from it for a few hours before I could even begin to deal with it. I couldn't even take the picture. I had to ask Keith to do it.

Wowsers...that's CRAZY! Kids do the darnest things!! Hang in there...love ya!
I'm not laughing. I'm not. Wait...YES I am!!! and you probably can now, since you're posting about it. But holy heck. I would have hit the roof. Thank heavens you had friends over so you didn't blow your stack. :)
I remember when my sis Aubrea would do this and I would go put it all back away. :o) Now Isaac always has clothes all over his floor. From either him trying to get his clothes out to wear or throw his dirty clothes on the floor. I have even put a hamper in his room hoping this would help...NOPE! It drives me crazy! I feel for you.
Wow! Those kids have a lot of tricks up their sleeves. Just wait til they are teenagers!
